Rashid Thigpen is a licensed master social worker and trauma-informed clinician, trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Since joining the practice in 2022, Rashid has been dedicated to creating a culturally affirming environment for children, and Black and Brown men, offering a safe and supportive space to explore emotional pain, trauma, and personal growth. His approach integrates evidence-based methods with cultural sensitivity to promote emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting well-being.
Rashid also facilitates workshops and talks on emotional literacy, parenthood, and mental health awareness among boys and men, inspiring communities to prioritize healing and healthy emotional expression.
