Clinical Resident
Jayden Ellison is a Clinical Intern dedicated to supporting adolescents and families in navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Morehouse College, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at New York University.
Jayden’s clinical experience includes providing one-on-one behavioral support to children with autism spectrum disorder, emphasizing skill-building, positive reinforcement, and collaboration with families and clinical supervisors. His background also includes involvement in school-based and community mental health initiatives, where he has contributed to outreach efforts and facilitated spaces that promote emotional well-being among youth.
He approaches his work with intentionality, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to creating spaces where clients feel seen, respected, and understood. Jayden is particularly passionate about working with BIPOC adolescents, supporting them in navigating identity, life transitions, and mental health with greater clarity and confidence.
