Shelly Sarasty, MSW-I

Shelly Sarasty is a compassionate, Bilingual (Spanish) Advanced Clinical Intern dedicated to supporting children, teens, and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at York College.

With a strong background in school-based counseling, student support, and co-facilitating teen groups, Shelly brings both professional expertise and heartfelt understanding to her work. At Orchard Blue Counseling, she provides individual therapy, school-based counseling, interactive workshops, and community outreach programs.

Shelly is deeply committed to creating a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space where young people and their parents feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether helping a child manage big emotions, guiding a teen through life transitions, or equipping parents with practical tools, she approaches each client with empathy, curiosity, and genuine care.
